Food Sensitivity Testing
Latest newspaper reports state that 45% of the population have symptoms
linked to food intolerance and most G.P's do not understand the problem!
(Daily Mail, Monday 22nd January, 2007).
Due to this report and the success we are already attaining in this area, we
are pleased to introduce our "in house" Food Sensitivity Testing Service
(which involves much more than food, as we will describe later).
Please note: Our Food Sensitivity Test is available to UK residents only.

Allergic children can be labelled "naughty" when it can be food/drinks or
nutritional deficiences that are the problem! We know of a child who was
punished for years for disobedience when it was a particular drink his
parents were giving him that affected his behaviour. Underneath the allergy
was a lovable, obedient child.
What Does The Test Include?
- Consultation before and after test
- Tailored to your exact diet (all the foods you regularly eat)
- De-hydration check
- Nutritional deficiency check
- Sensitivity to mobile phones/medication check
- Written report
- On-going support and advice
Also tested, if appropriate, are alcohol, tap water, fruit juices,
smoothies, cordials, washing powder. air freshners, cosmetics,
body care products, animal hair and any other idiosyncratic item.
We believe this to be the most comprehensive and accurate test on the market
for adults and children.
Testimonials
"As you know, I have suffered with Urticaria for five years. However, since I
started on the regime .. plus the need to drink... water each day, the itch
has gradually diminished. I shall continue with the diet and water hopefully
until the itch has completely gone. I am now confident it will do so.".
- Mr. L.C., Leeds.
Our comment: This client was getting very depressed. The itching was
causing him a great deal of anquish and he was having to get up in the night
for a cold water shower to try to relieve it and get some sleep. He had been
told by his G.P. that Urticaria was incurable. He went privately to a skin
specialist who told him the same.
This was another case of orthodox medicine not recognising severe
intolerances and not asking the right questions about diet.
Within two weeks Mr. C. lost the grey look to his skin, his eyes became
brighter and the depression lifted as his itching started to fade. He also
lost 12lbs in weight. The last time we spoke to Mr. C. he said the itching
only came back if he ate too much of his forbidden foods.
"After injuring my knees in the winter I was advised by my
physiotherapist to rest for a week and then gradually resume normal activity. However, on
returning to university the pain worsened despite resting, until it became
difficult to move around or go out at all, especially during the cold
weather. I religiously practiced my physiotherapy exercises and ate
healthily with the hope that this would eventually return me to my normal
active self. After an eight-week term I arrived home frustrated and confused
about what was wrong with me. I went to several specialists who discovered
that there was in fact no swelling or internal damage, or really any reason
why I should be in so much pain.
Feeling disheartened and scared about my long-term prospects my mum
suggested that I tried this food intolerance test. Obviously I was skeptical
as I had absolutely no idea how a food allergy could possibly in any way
have any influence on the pain I was experiencing in my knees but since I
had no other options I thought that it was at least worth a try. Bizarrely,
all the healthy foods that I ate regularly ... were those that I was most
intolerant to. I was advised to cut them out for six weeks before slowly
reintroducing them. I decided to cut these foods out and continue with my
physiotherapy regime. Eight weeks later, although there is some occasional
pain, my knees have done nothing but improve. It is still a mystery to me
what was actually wrong, and after lapsing and reintroducing everything all
at once, (on a day of weakness), I cannot deny that the following day was
not a good one for my knees! Whether or not that is proof I cannot say, but
it is certainly an extremely large coincidence for it not to be probable or
at least possible that my food intolerances were affecting my joints and
recovery from injury. I have cut back on these foods again and am now
very slowly reintroducing them as I start to feel better.
- Miss. A. Jackson, Leeds.
Our comment: This a classic example of how many healthy foods can be
unhealthy for certain individuals. In this case mobile phone sensitivity was
also playing a part.
"I have been undergoing both a new dietary regime and taking natural
supplements as recommended by We Love Skin, after having tests to determine
foodstuffs harmful to health.
Having suffered Bronchiectasis, a lung condition, for over forty seven years
and developing Asthma some ten years ago, for which I have been prescribed
three steriod inhalers by the nurse at my local asthma clinic, I now have
found that with the removal of wheat and dairy products, as advised by We
Love Skin, my lung capacity has improved to the extent that have been
able to stop taking one of the inhalers and I now use the other two less
frequently.
I am also less breathless and do not have as much wheezing to contend with
and feel I am now in better physical condition and, as I do not need to
take antibiotics so regularly, the stomach problem they caused has now gone.
I have also suffered from severe anxiety for more than thirty years which
led me to develop Agoraphobia a condition that stopped me leaving home on a
regular basis for almost twenty years. Due to the supplements recommended..
which were to aid in reducing my nervousness, I am now able to leave the
house and use public transport with ease, this after three years of feeling
to be on the verge of having a "panic attack" whilst going out on trips
within my local area.
I am now able to converse with other people and I can cope in a much more
comfortable way in crowded situationd. My confidence has increased to the
extent that I can carry out the day to day tasks such as using the
telephone, another area in which I had great difficulty.
The tests and subsequent diet and supplements recommended ... have made me
feel and look so much better that my own G.P. and other health-care workers
tell me that my health, both physically and emotionally is very much
improved and, I am personally benefiting from a noticeably better quality of
life.".
- Mr. Fawcett from Newcastle Upon Tyne.
".... after never having experienced any problems with my skin, I developed
a rash on my face.
This rash altered my looks as my face was swollen (as though being scolded).
My eyes were swollen and I had open sores on my eyelids. My mouth had open
sores and it was impossible to use any creams or lotions that I had
previosuly used for years.
I sought the help of a dermatologist at a private hospital. I also visited 4
other skin care specialists who practiced alternative medicine. These were
all quite expensive but I was desperate to find out why I was in this state.
No one could understand why my skin had altered and did not know how to
treat me.
Eventually I met with Brenda Smith (We Love Skin) .. and she ccarried out
some allergy tests. After consultation, a couple of weeks of altering my
diet and taking some supplements, my skin started to heal. Within a couple
of months my skin was back to normal.
It is now 5 years .... and the problem has never re-occurred. I have gone
back to using my favourite facial products.".
- Mrs. Allen from Leeds.
Our comment: This was an interesting case as Mrs. Allen had already spent
a small fortune including £400 for an Allergy Test done elsewhere. The
result of that test was "no existing sensitivities". This was definately not
the case as this client had multiple allergies. This shows the need for
caution when investing in Sensitivity Testing - not all testing is the same!
"I had been having awful skin rashes and was unable to pinpoint a cause. The
hospital had just brushed me off with more antihistamines that had no effect
and they refused to give me an allergy test. I was extremely fed up. I was
putting on weight even though my diet wasn't too bad and generally felt
run-down. My asthma was also making me suffer more than usual. I met with
Brenda and talked through some of my problems and she took away a hair
sample to test along with some things I wanted her to test such as washing
powder, shampoo and my asthma inhaler. Brenda explained how she would use my
hair sample with a surrogate. I had never heard of this method but was
willing to give it a try.
The results were very interesting. I had a long list of things I needed to
avoid and was very surprised by what I was intolerant to. I made a start
straight away trying to eliminate certain things from my lifestyle and so
far so good.I'm starting to lose weight, my rash attacks are less severe and
are not happening on a daily basis as before. I no longer wake up in the
night to use my inhaler and I generally feel brighter without the need to
sleep all the time!".
- Miss. Smith of Guiseley, Leeds.
How Is The Test Is Conducted?
The client sends us a hair sample and a list of all the foods/drinks
partaken of on a regular basis. If we haven't all the particular types of
food/drinks in stock we ask the client for a sample (we provide plastic
envelopes and small bottles for these).
The test is conducted using the principle of Applied Kinesiology with a
surrogate tester. Sensitivities are determined by the way certain muscles of
the body respond to a particular substance.
We are 110% committed to all our clients. Our aim is to help people attain
good health and we are particularly interested in "mystery conditions" which
have not been helped by the Medical profession.
| The cost of the test is | £150 for adults |
| £95 for children |
| Children under 5 year old negotiable |
